The 20th Annual Guam Society Roberto LG Lizama Memorial Classic Golf Tournament will be held Friday, August 31, 2018, at the Courses at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland. Kick start the 2018 Labor Day Weekend by coming out to support a fantastic cause as the tournament benefits the Guam Society of America’s Scholarship Program. We ask that you share and encourage family/friends/ acquaintances/co-workers to participate. This is the Guam Society’s annual fundraising effort for scholarship funds that are awarded to deserving and aspiring college-bound students. Enjoy a great day of golf and a delicious island fiesta buffet.
COST: $120/player or $100/player for current Guam Society members. Includes: green fee, cart, beverages, and Guam-style Fiesta at the Freedom Park immediately following the tournament. Signs showing the location of the fiesta and maps to Freedom Park will be provided to all golfers/attendees.

Fiesta details will be given out at registration. Fiesta tickets are $15 each for non-golfer guests and $10 for current Guam Society members.

Participation is not guaranteed until payment has been received.

Tournament begins with an 8AM Shotgun Start (with check in not later than 7:30am), Captains Choice tournament. Sign up early to play as the tournament fills quickly.

(NOTE: Entries must be received no later than Monday, August 20, 2018)

Prizes: Awarded to top teams in various flights depending on the total of teams registered. Additional prizes will be awarded for male and female winners of the following categories: Closest to the Pin; Closest to the Line; and Longest Drive.

Mulligans and raffle tickets for door prizes may be purchased in advance online or on the day of the competition. Prizes from previous tournaments included: iPad, LCD Flat Screen HDTV, Callaway Driver, free rounds of golf, and much, much more.

Non-golfers and guests are welcomed to join in the fiesta at $15 per person or $10 per person for current Guam Society members.

Cancellation Policy: The tournament will only be cancelled if the staff at Andrews Air Force Base Golf course determines that the course is unplayable. A make up date will then be scheduled; sorry no refunds for this event.
